Many people like telling or sharing jokes. It is one of the ways to refresh their mind or to refresh the atmosphere. Some jokes contain educational values while some others are nasty. It is up to you what kind of jokes you are going to tell, share, or listen to. The most important thing is: Don’t do it excessively!

Jokes..Oh I love jokes. They stimulate your brain. To 'get' a joke, it takes more than understanding words and grammar. It goes beyond that. You have to have some background knowledge of culture too.
That's why, some people have good command of English, they understand every single word in a joke, yet we get no reaction from them. How sad..(and funny too).
